Pitch Synopsis for Zyklon B

Adam, Michael and Dave are three boys who seek adventure. Although their families aren't financially stable, they look for opportunity in the small town they live in which is adjacent to a vast, isolated wood. When the boys explore the bowels of the environment they stumble across a bag belonging to the infamous Zyklons, a white supremacy group mentioned in the news two weeks before for the vicious murder of a young black male. The boys decided to take the bag, containing enough money to resolve their families financial constraints but discover there are immediate sever consequences for their decision making.


Feedback

To receive feedback we created a survey using the website smart survey. It took between 10-15 minutes to create as the website was easy to navigate and allowed us to customise the layout. We provided the viewers of our survey with 10 questions with a range of answers such as multiple choice tick boxes that are multiple choice and text boxes that allow you to comment on your opinions.
We then uploaded the survey and sent the link out to members of our target audience. We aimed at getting between 7 and 15 responses, in the end we had 13 but they were not all fully completed



Upon opening the survey results we encountered a problem. People had shared our survey with other people who were commenting unnecessary things which we had to remove, however, the majority of the comments and responses were all helpful and the consecutive criticism we received allows our group to influence other decisions to make our film opening better.



The first two questions were specific in establishing who our survey viewers are. The results show that the majority age of our viewers is between 12-16 and the genders vary between male and female. A criticism of our survey would be that we added a comment box for optional genders as it meant that people would try to be humorous in the comments sections. This was a frequent occurrence throughout our survey.









Overall, we found the majority of the responses to our survey to be constructive. The Feedback we received is intended to support us in making decisions in our horror film opening, the rest of the questions required a comment response.
